The Duotones/QuadraTones

The DuoTones are led by Ted Waterhouse (AKA Catalina Eddy) on deep delta bottleneck and standard electric and acoustic guitars and vocals with harmonica player and vocalist Johnny Johnson. They are a local favorite duet at any sized venue but are especially popular at smaller venues like wine bars where listeners can mingle while listening to original songs and select covers of blues, roots-rock, rock 'n roll, and rockabillly favorites.

The QuadraTones were born out of Ted & Johnny's Love of a Bigger Sound. With their fellow pros (Micheal Smothers & Dave Block of The JumpJax on Drums & Bass respectively) they continue to expand their repertoire of Jump-Blues, R&B and other high energy tunes. Check out The QuadraTones at The Secret Garden off The Bob Jones Bike path in Avila Beach.
